“Hello Dimitri, thanks a lot.
I got it, that if I choose trumpet on the left side, then the Alpha etc disappear.
I played the 169C3 massive yesterday without any preparation at a broadway show rehearsal in Munich. Either I was in the „honeymoon“ period or it‘s simply a great mouthpiece. Immediate response, solid core but a little more „help“ (maybe slightly more resistance to „lean against“ compared to my Monette). And most important, no loss of intonation…therefore I take the short shank for sure.
So I made the order today morning while waiting for my son at the pediatrician.
The 169C3 feels slightly smaller in diameter compared to my B4LD, but maybe that‘s not a bad thing once accustomed. But therefore I put a 170 into my order also to check, if this size fits better. Would have been curious also about the Gunn Fu, but I alread had chosen 5 pieces 🙂
My goal would be to find the right size for me and then choose cup depth like the C3 for all around and one shallower piece (maybe in the light version) for real lead and one deeper for the smooth and airy stuff. In the 169 size there are no deeper versions, right?
I‘m on the way to next theatre rehearsal right now…will see, if honeymoon continues :-))

Silver plating provides a soft and smooth feeling on the lips.
It’s a 20 µm silver plating. This large thickness offers a high quality that is resistant over time.

We have chosen to offer an “excellent” plating in pure gold 24K. Gold is the only alloy that does not oxidize over time.

It will then be sent to our silversmith – aurifier. Upon receipt of this, its deadline for carrying out its tackle varies between 10 and 15 days. We chose to collaborate with this plater for the very high quality of his work. Like us, he works each piece by hand (polishing / plating / brightening). After his work, he sends the mouthpiece back to us and we in turn send it to you. For this finest of work and for all these short back and forth, it takes an average of 4 weeks between ordering and expedition.
