“The combination of a light contour and a U-shaped cup creates a sound that blends brightness and roundness, with an upper register that stays pleasant and easy The E cup allows the player to go higher without hardening the tone, while keeping the mid–low register comfortable“
The real + : A round upper register with a natural touch of brightness
• Trumpet mouthpiece
• Diameter : 16,9mm
• Cup depth : E = Shallow
• Cup shape : U
• From advanced to professional level
• Repertoire : Well suited for both classical and lead work, wherever a round, stable and slightly bright upper register is needed

Avis
“J’ai eu une répèt en orchestre classique et une autre en Big Band ce week-end, donc ça tombait parfaitement bien pour tester ça en situation. Je dois dire que je suis conquis“
Sylvain F. 169E Massive – 2021Sept
“The 169E suits me very well for the Brass Band, street music and for the section a little more “punch”. I had a crush when I tried it at Magland and I was not disappointed when I played it again afterwards.”
Remi F. 169E Massive – 2021oct
“The mouthpiece already arrived this morning.
Thank you so much, they feel and play incredibly well!!!
I‘m so happy that I discovered Donat mouthpieces, they fir me perfectly. I‘m really equiped with the best material possible now, so no excuses anymore 🙂
Thank you again, great work!” Andreas – 169E Light – 2022feb
“I have been playing recently on a Donat with a throat #23. What a release my friend! »S.
“They are superb. (169E light & 170C light). They complement the flugelhorn mouthpiece and the old model 169C that I had from Donat. I’m very happy with them, I had time to play the test models in the meantime, they are comfortable, precise and allow good endurance and varied sound work. It’s a real pleasure, congratulations to you !!! »

Silver plating
A layer of silver is deposited on the brass.
Thanks to its good thermal conductivity, silver provides a smooth and comfortable feel on the lips.
We have chosen an exceptional plating with a thick layer of silver – 20 µm, ensuring very high quality and long-term durability.
Gold plating
A layer of pure 24-carat gold is deposited over the silver plating.
Thanks to its high thermal conductivity, gold provides a soft and warm sensation on the lips.
We have chosen an excellence plating in pure 24-carat gold, the only metal that does not oxidize over time.
