\nDimitri developed his models in close collaboration with several professional cornet players<\/strong>, including the Dutch musicians Ko de Rooij<\/strong> and Hugh Steketee<\/strong>, passionate and demanding players deeply committed to the cornet tradition.
\nThese exchanges made it possible to refine more enveloping, warmer cups<\/strong>, capable of offering the characteristic carrying quality of the cornet<\/strong> while maintaining precision and stability<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A cornet mouthpiece<\/strong> must be technically flawless \u2014 but also offer natural comfort and stable endurance<\/strong>, essential for allowing the vibration to unfold fully.<\/p>\n

A mouthpiece is never a simple equation.
\nThe diameter \/ depth \/ throat<\/strong> relationship does not function as an isolated mechanism:<\/p>\n

\u2013 certain depths do not tolerate certain throats;
\n\u2013 deeper cups require a precise backbore<\/strong> to maintain balance;
\n\u2013 the mass<\/strong> transforms the anchoring and stability of the vibration;
\n\u2013 the rim<\/strong> directly influences softness, freedom, and warmth of sound.<\/p>\n
