[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeInLeft” css=””]At DONAT<\/strong>, everything began with the trumpet<\/strong>. The workshop was built around it, model after model, shaping what is now the largest catalogue of the house, with more than 50 mouthpieces<\/strong> today.<\/p>\n

The DONAT catalogue<\/strong> is the result of more than ten years of research and collaboration<\/strong> with musicians of all levels and backgrounds.
\nDefined through its rim, throat, backbore and cup<\/strong>, a mouthpiece must be technically flawless<\/strong> \u2014 but also offer comfort and endurance<\/strong>, two essential qualities for keeping the vibration free.<\/p>\n

This diversity of models reflects the diversity of musicians: their own way of generating vibration, their aesthetic, their register, their energy. For this reason, our mouthpieces cover a very wide spectrum of shapes, masses and sound responses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A mouthpiece is not an equation. The diameter \/ depth \/ throat<\/strong> trio does not behave like a simple mechanism: some throats do not match certain depths, some cups require a specific backbore to balance, the mass completely changes the response and the stability of the vibration, and the rim shapes comfort, precision and endurance.<\/p>\n

Each model is therefore a carefully sought balance<\/strong>, until the vibration becomes stable, natural and evident<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
